Softly Dreaming came to life because I wanted to run a blog close to my lesbian heart. I have run several other sites and blogs, but they always felt somewhat limited to me. I wanted to be able to talk about my life openly and issues that effect everyone, as well as the LGBT community.
Softly Dreaming covers everything from politics to rants to lesbian life. It covers some of the topics from the site as well, but expands. We have a Body & Soul section, which covers positive life and personal growth written by author and life coach, Carly. There is also a section for LGBT videos, mostly commercials and quick snippets that show lesbian life in a more mainstream fashion.
I live in the Pacific Northwest, right on a river. No, not the proverbial “river of life”, but an actual full fledged river. Maybe you have heard of it? The Columbia? Today I have more abundance and prosperity in my life than I ever have. My financial picture has not changed, but my heart, mind and spirit have been touched by someone very special and precious to me. I am truly blessed, and realize this every day that I continue to breathe.
I encourage everyone to contribute to SD. Whether asking for advice, commenting on posts, sharing (or selling) artwork, photography or writing. Anything you want to get out there.
