Tiny Timmy

L and I rescued a little kitty several months ago. Did we need more cats in our life? Absolutely not. Yet, it was one of those situations where the greater need won out.

The poor little guy, who we named after Tiny Tim (the kid on crutches) in Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol, could hardly keep conscious when we rescued him. We rushed him to the vet after we spent his first night bathing, flea combing, feeding and loving on him. The vet didn’t expect him to make it through the next 48 hours. Timmy sure showed them!!! He is thriving!

Instead of my writing a huge diatribe on what toxic over the counter flea and tick stuff does to cats (and dogs), I’d like to share Timmy’s first movie with you. The music starts part way in, so be patient. It was designed that way. You can also read about Timmy and learn more on his popular Catbook page.

Please feel free to share this, pass it on, talk it up, use it at work, send it to your Auntie Mame who you haven’t spoken to for the last twenty years.

I think the movie is wonderful and I am so glad that Timmy is doing well. You earned some good karma points with this. I am looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks. xoxo

Thanks for the kudos! I think my karma points come from having a living inspiration in my own house! On another note, we might have to postpone the trip into January. It’s freezing here and I can’t get a hold of my regular pet sitter…
