I love horror films. I really do. And Zombie films tend to be especially campy. I am not sure I have figured that one out yet, but there is something so silly about them that they lend themselves really well to that queer camp humor. Not the sexy vampire stereotype, but the slow, silly, brain eating zombie horror. Zombie Strippers is more in line with the camp humor of Shaun of the Dead than The Living Dead series of movies.

So Jenna Jameson, the queen of porn and author of How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale , rises like a slutty phoenix from the flames to star in, what else, Zombie Strippers. Other than Jamesons’ irritating habit of moving her head too much when she says anything, the trailers actually look alright. An interview with Jameson has her saying that she pulled $5,000 to $50,000 a night in tips stripping when she was 18 years old. I found that hard to believe, until I saw the clip with her strutting onto the stripping stage, bouncing by the stripper poles. Yet, if you could make over $2 million a year stripping 4 days a month at the age of 18, why aren’t we all doing it? And why would you do anything else for the next 12 years?

Jameson considers Zombie Strippers her foray into the legitimate movie business. It tells the story of George W as Prez for the fourth term and Arnold Schwarzenegger as VP due to some voting machine hack. Iraq is still going on. The government creates a zombie virus so they can send dead soldiers back to keep fighting. Of course, it all goes wrong when one escapes and starts to spread the virus. Jameson is turned, and it seems to be good for business. Soon, all the other strippers want to be just like her and pull those big tips. Although not shown in any of the trailers I could find, apparently Jamesons’ porn background came in pretty handy. She kills by shooting pool balls out of her zombified hoo-hoo. Go figure.
